Conference Room

The conference room may be reserved for meetings and other college activities. Priority will be given to library activities, especially library instruction. Reservations by college groups outside the library may be made one month in advance.

Please call ext. 2526 to reserve the room. Questions may be directed to Lorraine Melita, Access Services Librarian at ext. 4009.

Interactive Reference Area

The Interactive Reference Area (IRA) may be reserved by faculty for library instruction activities. Faculty are encouraged to work with the bibliographer assigned to their department. Reservations must be made two weeks in advance.

Please call the bibliographer assigned to your department to discuss reserving the IRA. The list of bibliographers is found at http://library.cortland.edu/bibliographers.asp. Other questions may be directed to Sue Bush at ext. 4012.

PC, Mac Lab and Late Night Reading Room

The PC and Mac Labs are reserved centrally by Academic Computing Services. The Late Night Reading Room lab is not available for reservations.

Study Carrels

Study carrels are located on the fourth floor and may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Carrels are available to registered SUNY Cortland students, faculty, staff and emeritus faculty. Some carrels will be permanently reserved for daily use or specific needs as determined by the library. Students may reserve carrels for a semester; faculty for an academic year. Applications will be available on the Memorial Library Homepage at: http://library.cortland.edu/forms/carrel_request.asp

Periodicals Study Rooms

There are two study rooms located on the third floor in the Periodicals Department (north wing). The study rooms may be reserved by faculty, student and staff groups or individuals for eight hours or less. Reservations are made by calling Periodicals at ext. 4050 one week in advance.
