Videos from the Video Collection may be viewed in the library by users with their valid Cortland ID card.
- Video Collection items may be borrowed by faculty. Faculty may borrow up to 5 videos at one time. For further information, please contact the circulation desk at (607) 753-2526.
- A student may not borrow a video from the non-circulating collection unless a faculty member fills out an "Support Video Collection Special Loan Form for Student Use." Student authorization to borrow a video from this collection is limited to classroom demonstration as part of the student's assignment. Forms are availible from the circulation desk.
- Faculty -- 1 (one) week with 1 (one) renewal
- Students -- class period only
- Users must present their valid Cortland ID card to use videos in the library and to borrow items.
- Videos from the Video Collection which are damaged by faculty or students using college equipment are the responsibility of the library. Replacement costs are paid from the Support Video account.
- Videos damaged by faculty or students not using college equipment are the responsibility of the borrower.
- Videos lost by faculty or students are the responsibility of the borrower.
- Replacement cost for lost or damaged videos will be determined by the Public Services Librarian in consultation with the Collection Development Librarian. A $25.00 non-refundable processing charge will be added to the replacement cost of each lost or damaged video.
- Videos from this collection are not available for Interlibrary Loans.
