Production Services at Memorial Library

Who We Are

What We Do

We offer a variety of services that enable Cortland faculty, staff and students to infuse technology throughout their teaching, learning and project work. Used effectively, technology can significantly enhance the higher education experience.

Our staff do not encourage use of hardware and/or software products simply "because they exist". We take the time to talk with you about your goals and help you to decide whether a particular technology tool is the right fit. Individuals who are new to the use of technology are particularly encouraged to contact us. Questions are welcome!

How To Contact Us

Video and Still Photography Hardware is available for Circulation at Memorial Library

Have a project that would benefit from digital photography? New to digital cameras? Memorial Library has cameras and accessories available for circulation. We ask that patrons please return equipment promptly and notify circulation staff of any concerns upon return.

A minimum of 12 hours is required to perform a required maintenance and functionality check on each video set (camera and accessories) and on each still camera set. For this reason, each camera will be unavailable for circulating 12 hours following its return. To allow for proper maintenance, equipment may be checked out only during the following hours:

Days Times
Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
Friday 8a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Saturday Equiptment does not circulate
Sunday Noon-10 p.m.

Training In The Use of Cameras and Accessories

Training is strongly encouraged for anyone checking out a piece of equipment for the first time. The sessions are brief and may save a faculty, students and staff signficant time in their projects. You may make an appointment for training by contacting Dawn Van Hall at ext. 4890 or vanhall@cortland.edu.
