Digital Imaging
The Digital Imaging Specialist provides a full range of digital photographic services to support the instructional, research, and academic needs of the campus including: digitization of 35mm slides, flatbed scans from artwork, books, magazines and other publications.
Video Production
Video production is supported with the MiniDV cameras that the Library has for loan. Training and consultation on projects, as well as classroom training are available. The Multimedia Rooms and the Mac Lab have software for editing the production once shot. Digital Imaging can assist with editing, train on the software available and serve as a resource for students.
Photo/Video Equipment Training
Technical and functional training is strongly encouraged when checking out equipment for the first time. You will be surprised what you learn.
Photography
Photographic services include:portraits for the web, some on-location photography, image manipulation and retouching, consultation on camera use.
Multimedia Work Rooms
The Library has three Multimedia Rooms for multimedia production use; each room is equipped with multimedia equipment including scanners. Media production software is available on these machines. One of the rooms is equipped with a projector and board and serves as a presentation practice room. The rooms can be reserved for three hours at a time.

Equipment
The Library has a variety of equipment to create multimedia projects available for loan including cameras, camcorders, microphones, voice recorders and more. Once the equipment is checked out at the Library Circulation Desk, the items can be used in the library or anywhere. Supplies such as tapes, CDs or DVDs are supplied by the borrowers.

Presentations (PowerPoint)
Electronic production services include assistance with slide presentations using software such as PowerPoint and creating multimedia presentations
Classroom Support
The Digital Imaging Specialist is available to assist in the creation of Multimedia Projects for the classroom. If the projects are classroom projects, faculty should work with Dawn on the planning of the project so that we may anticipate the student’s needs and give advice on the best approach to the project. Classroom training may be arranged with advance notice.
